In order to avoid hindering the wearer and completely achieve\\nall intended upper limb movements when wearing the exoskeleton, the flexion and extension\\nmovements of the elbow and shoulder joints are actively powered to support the wearer\\nwhile the other two degrees of freedom (DoFs) of the shoulder joints are freely passive.
